Youth Day Camp

Topics will include: horse and hoof anatomy, approaching your horse, halter and lead, grooming, saddling, bridling, mounting and dismounting, gates of the horse, riding and suppling, turning left and right, and stopping with one rein.

Adult supervision ensures maximum hands on participation and saftey of rider and horse

Kula Kai Farms Youth Day Camp is unlike any other day camp you have seen or read about. Our agenda is to instill correct horse handling skills from the beginning. Not only will it help the child, but it will help the horse.
This is the foundation that is built in the human, such as the foundation that is built in horses.

In our program, the goal is for your child to come away knowing more about horses and how to communicate with the horse than the average person even realizes. Throughout the day, the program will adjust to fit the needs of all students regardless of age.

The foundation developed in this program will inspire horsemanship. This is the beginning toward barrel racing, a safe trail ride, going over jumps, or just riding around the property. With this spark, you and your child can pursue a future with a horse in many different ways.
